Verse 1

Maṅgalaṃ Kosalendrāya Mahanīya-Guṇābdhaye ।
Cakravarti-Tanūjāya Sārvabhaumāya Maṅgalam ॥ 1 ॥

Verse 2

Veda-Vedānta-Vedyāya Megha-Śyāmala-Mūrtaye ।
Puṃsāṃ Mohana-Rūpāya Puṇya-Ślokāya Maṅgalam ॥ 2 ॥

Verse 3

Viśvāmitrāntaraṅgāya Mithilānagara-Schitau ।
Bhañjakāya Śiva-Dhanuṣo Rāmacandrāya Maṅgalam ॥ 3 ॥

Verse 4

Pitṛ-Bhakktāya Satatānugata-Bhrātṛ-Sītāya ।
Daṇḍakāraṇya-Vāsāya Rāmacandrāya Maṅgalam ॥ 4 ॥

Phalashruti

Rāma-Maṅgala-Stotraṃ Yaḥ Paṭhed-Bhakti-Samyuktaḥ ।
Sa Labhet-Sakalān-Kāmān-Viṣṇu-Lokaṃ Sa Gacchati ॥ 10 ॥

Meaning of Phalashruti

Whoever recites this Rama Mangalashasanam with deep devotion will be blessed with all auspiciousness, fulfillment of righteous desires, and eternal entry into Vishnuloka.
