Shri Shani Vajrapanjarika Stotram
Introduction
Shri Shani Vajrapanjarika Stotram (literally meaning "The Diamond-Cage Protective Armor of Lord Saturn") is an invincible astrological stotram composed by Sage Pippalada in the Brahmanda Purana.
Vajrapanjara means an unbreakable diamond cage. Sage Pippalada, who had conquered severe suffering in childhood caused by Lord Saturn, composed this stotram to construct an unbreakable spiritual shield (Vajra Panjara) around any devotee facing the 7.5-year period of Saturn's transit (Sade Sati), Kantaka Shani, or Ashtama Shani.
Chanting this stotram every Saturday invokes Lord Shani's compassionate form (Manda-Gati/Krupa-Sagara), transforming adversity into spiritual discipline, career stability, and justice.
