Shri Navagraha Stotram
Introduction
Shri Navagraha Stotram is a 9-verse astrological and devotional hymn composed by Sage Veda Vyasa in praise of the Navagrahas (the Nine Planetary Deities of Vedic astrology: Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu).
In Vedic astrology (Jyotish), human karma is reflected through the cosmic movements of these nine grahas. Sage Veda Vyasa composed this stotram to pacify malefic planetary influences (Graha Doshas), turn hostile planetary transits into auspicious blessings, and ensure health, wealth, peace, and longevity.
Each verse praises a specific planet's color, lineage, vehicle, weapon, and spiritual role in governing human destiny.
Benefits of Recitation (Phalashruti)
