Shri Narayana Kavacham (literally meaning "The Armor of Lord Narayana") is one of the most powerful and sacred protective shields found in Srimad Bhagavatam (Canto 6, Chapter 8), compiled by Maharshi Veda Vyasa.
The context of this stotram is monumental. When the demons (Asuras) defeated King Indra and the demigods (Devas), Indra sought refuge with the learned preceptor Vishvarupa (son of Tvashta).
