Shri Lalita Sahasranama Stotram
Introduction
Shri Lalita Sahasranama Stotram (literally meaning "The Thousand Names of Divine Mother Lalita") is the supreme masterpiece of Srividya and Shakta literature. It is found in the Lalitopakhyana of the Brahmanda Purana, presented as a sacred dialogue between Lord Hayagriva (an avatar of Lord Vishnu) and Maharshi Agastya.
The history of this stotram is unique and divine. Unlike other Sahasranamams written by a single sage, the 1000 names of Lalita Tripura Sundari were composed by the Eight Vag-Devatas (Vashini, Kameswari, Aruna, Vimala, Jayini, Modini, Sarveswari, and Kaulini) at the explicit command of the Divine Mother Herself.
The stotram praises Sri Lalita as the Supreme Empress (Maha Rajni), seated on the Srichakra throne in Chintamani Griha, surrounded by the nectar of bliss. Reciting the Lalita Sahasranamam grants supreme protection, prosperity, health, and spiritual realization (Atma-Jnana).
Benefits of Recitation (Phalashruti)
According to the divine declaration of Lord Hayagriva in Brahmanda Purana, daily recitation of Shri Lalita Sahasranamam bestows incomparable spiritual and worldly blessings:

- Srichakra Worship Fruit: Reciting the Sahasranamam is equal to performing millions of Srichakra Pujas and Navavarana Archana.
