Shri Ganesha Pancharatnam
Introduction
Shri Ganesha Pancharatnam (literally meaning "Five Gems of Lord Ganesha") is one of the most revered and melodious hymns dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the remover of all obstacles and the harbinger of wisdom and prosperity. This immortal stotram was composed by the great 8th-century philosopher and saint Sri Adi Shankaracharya.
Each verse of the Pancharatnam is crafted in sweet, rhythmic Sanskrit meters (primarily Malini meter) that celebrate the divine forms, attributes, and cosmic play of Vigneshwara. The hymn praises Him as the son of Mother Parvati and Lord Shiva, the granter of liberation, and the supreme protector of all devotees.
Reciting the Ganesha Pancharatnam every morning invokes divine grace, bestows clarity of thought, removes subtle karmic impediments, and brings peace and success in all noble endeavors.
