Shri Bhuvaneshwari Stotram
Introduction
Shri Bhuvaneshwari Stotram is a sacred hymn dedicated to Goddess Bhuvaneshwari, the fourth deity among the Dasha Mahavidyas (Ten Great Wisdom Goddesses) in Shakta Tantra.
The name Bhuvaneshwari literally means "The Sovereign Ruler of the Fourteen Cosmic Worlds (Bhuvanas)". She represents the physical space (Akasha), the cosmic matrix in which all creation takes birth, blossoms, and dissolves.
Dressed in radiant red silk, seated on a lotus throne adorned with jewels, Mother Bhuvaneshwari holds the Noose (Pasha), Goad (Ankusha), and makes the gestures of granting boons (Varada) and fearlessness (Abhaya). Reciting Her stotram bestows sovereign authority, protection from fear, material abundance, and supreme spiritual realization.
Benefits of Recitation (Phalashruti)
According to Tantric tradition, daily recitation of Shri Bhuvaneshwari Stotram grants the following blessings:
- Attainment of Wealth and Sovereign Status (Rajya Prada): Bestows leadership, financial prosperity, and social respect.
- Destruction of Poverty and Fear: Shields against debts, hunger, legal disputes, and enemy threats.
- Grant of Eloquence and Knowledge: Enhances memory, wisdom, and speech clarity.
- Attainment of Liberation (Moksha): Grants Srividya grace and supreme liberation.
